Do you accept returns?
Due to our always changing inventory and limited quantities, all sales are final.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, Elo, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo and PayPal.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! You can shop gift cards here. Please note, the email used at checkout will be the email that receives the gift card. If you are wanting to send an e-gift card to someone else, please use their email at checkout. You can also send the email to yourself and forward the recipient the gift card via email or print out the email and gift it to the recipient that way.
If you are wanting to mail someone a physical gift certificate, we would be happy to do that! Please leave a note at checkout and we will contact you via email to pay for the shipping cost.
Shipping - Handmade Crochet Kitchen Bar Mop Towels
Please be aware that each towel is made AS IT IS ORDERED! I ask that customers allow me 10-14 business days to make their towels. After the towels are made, they will be shipped via USPS or UPS. Tracking information will be sent to the contact provided at checkout. If for some reason you have not received an update about your order after 14 business days, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipping - Ready to ship items
If your order contains a handmade crochet kitchen bar mop towel, please see the paragraph above. If your order does not contain a handmade crochet kitchen bar mop towel, please allow us 3-5 business days to process, pack, and ship your order. After USPS processes your package, delivery times vary depending on the distance and weight of your package.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all states in the US, with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. We do not ship to these states, Canada, or other countries and territories due to shipping expenses. If you would like to place an order and pay the shipping cost, please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com and provide us with the address and items you would like to order.
How much is shipping?
Currently, we have a flat rate fee established for shipping and handling based on the weight of your entire order. The starting rate is $4 and increases based on the weights of the items in your order. These rates may or may not change in the future, as we ship with USPS and they increase their rates every January. If your order can be shipped via UPS, it will be.
How can I check the status of my order?
Are cancellations accepted?
You will receive an email upon order confirmation and upon shipment. You may use either of these emails to track your order once it has been shipped.
I do not accept cancellations, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes. Please contact me with details of what you are looking for and any questions you may have. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
Can I choose a different crochet trim option that is not listed?
Towels are listed with one or two trim color options. However, if you would like a custom trim color, please add the trim color you would like in the "Add a note to your order" section in your Shopping Cart. Please note, towels with custom trim colors cannot be returned or exchanged.
Can my purchase be sent as a gift?
Yes! For no additional charge, a hand written card with a personal message will be included with your order. In the "Add a note to your order" section in your Shopping Cart, include what you would like the card to say and be sure to include the correct shipping address.
Where is your store located? What are the hours?
The Vintage Home Studio is located at 903 Main St. in North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. Our hours are currently Tuesday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 11am to 4 pm.
Can I purchase towels at your store in North Wilkesboro?
Depending on the season and order volume of towels, we may or may not have towels available for purchase in the store. During most holidays, we ask that local customers order online for in-store pickup to keep our inventory accurate and prevent your order from being misplaced. All handmade towel purchases, for shipment or local pickup, are made in the order in which they are received - for that reason, we ask that all customers allow us 10-14 business days from time of purchase to shipment/pick-up.
I don't see local pickup as an option at checkout.
Usually this occurs because you are checking out using a saved payment method such as PayPal, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, etc. Once you have selected your payment method the checkout screen will load and a shipping charge will automatically be applied. To change the order for local pickup,
either scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the "back" option until you can select local pickup as the shipping method OR select local pick-up from the shipping drop down menu.
