Shipping Policy and FAQ's
Handmade Items like Crochet Kitchen Bar Mop Towels
Please be aware that each towel is made AS IT IS ORDERED! I ask that customers allow me 10-14 business days to make their towels. After the towels are made, they will be shipped via USPS or UPS. Tracking information will be sent to the contact provided at checkout. If for some reason you have not received an update about your order after 14 business days, please contact me at thevintagehomestudio@gmail.com.
Ready to Ship Items
If your order contains a handmade crochet kitchen bar mop towel, please see the paragraph above for processing times. If your order does not contain a handmade crochet kitchen bar mop towel, please allow us 3-5 business days to process, pack, and ship your order. After your package is processed by USPS or UPS, delivery times vary depending on the distance and weight of your package.
When can I expect my order?
After processing time (3-5 business days for ready to ship items and 10-14 business days for handmade items), please allow up to 10 days, as transit times may vary between carriers. The following services are used and typically experience the corresponding transit times.
- First Class (USPS) - up to 4 business days
- Parcel Select (USPS) - up to 10 business days
- Priority Mail (USPS) - up to 3 business days
- Ground (UPS) - up to 10 days
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all states in the US, with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. We do not ship to these states, Canada, or other countries and territories due to shipping expenses. If you would like to place an order and pay the shipping cost, please feel free to reach out to us at thevintagehomestudio@gmail.com and provide us with the address and items you would like to order.
How much is shipping?
Shipping and handling is based on the distance traveled and weight and/or dimensions of your entire order. Rates may or may not change in the future, as we ship with USPS and they increase their rates during the holiday season (October-December) and every January.
To receive an estimated shipping charge, login to your account and head to the cart page. Based on your accounts default shipping address and the items added to your cart, a shipping estimate will be shown.
*Your order may be shipped with a different carrier than the one selected at checkout, for various reasons including: cost, transit time, and contact information provided at checkout.
We often refund customers shipping charges that differ significantly from what we pay our carriers.
What is Route?
Route is optional Package Protection for your orders. The Vintage Home Studio is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages; that being said, adding Route Insurance at checkout is a smart move! For only $0.98 on orders under $100, your packages can be protected from damage, theft and loss.
All handmade items (crochet kitchen bar mop towels) are made-to-order and will be shipped within 10-14 business days from time of order.
The Vintage Home Studio is not responsible for any of the following:
- Delays with US Postal Service or UPS shipping
- International Duties or Customs Charges
